That color is the most beautiful colored rose I think I've ever seen. I saw that same beautiful colored rose at a lady's house (a garden friend who I'd not seen in a while; an elderly lady who has a thumb that's green 24/7 365. We used to exchange things from our garden with each other (to transplant). Her theory was "never thank a garden friend for a rooting or a transplant". Her theory was that if thank-you's were spoken or exchanged, the plant or flower or whatever was exchanged might not make it. I would try my best to remember NOT to thank her for something, but inevitably she would remind me again "you're NOT supposed to thank me". (and she was serious - lol :) But anyhow... she has really gotten into the roses since I last saw her. She's always had beautiful roses, but she had some news ones. She walked me over to her new favorite rose bush, and it's that color! It seems I remember the name of it had "pineapple" something in it. Whatever the name - it's beautiful!

So glad you are enjoying the roses; there will be a few more soon enough (Queen Elizabeth is about to burst as is the Chrysler Imperial and the Pink Taffeta). Next week will be an explosion of color!
Then I have the seven sisters (not a variety - these are 'New Blaze') but denotes the roses grow in clusters of seven; I have three of those close to blooming.
I told you, I live in a small city, and my back yard is adjacent to a business. I have climbing candy tuft roses all along my back fence - along with sweet peas - that gives me ample privacy. (Smile) Give me time- you will see.

OMG! I bet it is beautiful! And sweet peas and candy tuft roses on the fence (and the added benefit of privacy too) I bet it is gorgeous! I can't wait to see it!

Probably not (there are some magnificient gardens here) but I AM the gardener of the neighborhood! I love to see folks stop and stare.... or point.... or ask what something is...
